Sota No Rip Grip

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been skating a bunch to give you guys the best reviews possible. Today I'm gonna review the sota no rip grip. The claim with this griptape ,like the SYS grip, is that you can skate and not rip up your shoes. Well this grip does what it claims in that department. It's about twice as thick as normal griptape and feels like rubbery alligator skin to the touch. It's hippy. But my as grippy as normal tape. You could skate in a single pair of shoes with this grip forever it seems. I personally switched back to regular grip due to the lack of grippiness with sota. All in all I'd give this grip a 7.0/10

SYS Griptape

I received a free sheet of SYS Griptape in the mail today and set it up on an 8.5 inch ATM deck with ace trucks and bones wheels. I have been very excited to try this grip for a while now. SYS stands for save your shoes and this tape will do just that. There approach to saving your shoes is quite unique. The tape is almost like a softer but grippier Velcro material. It is quite hard to describe. It skates like normal worn it tape right from the get go but isn't hard on hands or shoes. This tape isn't yet available in the United States but I had this free sheet sent to me. I also haven't seen any other reviews of this tape anywhere so this is a first. To conclude I would give this tape a 9.8/10 just because I had difficulty installing it but that was probably my fault;)

Pros: grippy, saves hands/shoes, looks good cause of black color, feels good
Cons: difficult installation

Theeve TiH Review

Hey guys! This is my first post on my new blog! I'm gonna try to bring you detailed reviews on skate products that haven't been thoroughly reviewed or maybe not even reviewed at all. My first review is going to be on the Theeve TiH trucks. I had these trucks for over two years and they performed amazing. They are great at turning, super strong, crazy light, and they look amazing. Though the trucks did last me over two years they did come with a fair share of downfalls. One of which was the bushings always tearing. I'm not sure what it is about these trucks but a set of bushings only last a week at most before being completely torn to shreds. Another downfall is the hanger is so hard due to it being titanium that it doesn't wear down and even after two years of hard skating I was unable to put any grooves in it to help me lock into grinds. The last downfall is the pivot cup in one of the trucks completely tore out and dented the baseplate horribly. Now I understand this is easily fixable but it was frustrating nonetheless. All in all I'd give these trucks a 6.5/10

Pros: Strong, Light, Turn Well, Look Great
Cons: To Strong Of Hanger, Rips Bushings, Bad Pivot Cups, Expensive
